ECOLEX - A gateway to Environmental Law
ECOLEX is a gateway to environmental law resources. The site was set up by three partners; UNEP, IUCN and FOA. The site is split into key areas including Multilateral Treaties, Instruments of the EU, National Legislation, Law & Policy Literature, Court Decisions and Flora and Fauna. In each area of the site user's can search by a keyword or organisation, or browse via subject area or jurisdiction. Also useful is a UN acronym list which allows you to find hundreds of acronyms, including the partners listed above! The site is a bibliographic database and access to the full text may not always be available, but this site works well as starting point.
