Lind & Barlow assess the effects of Part III of the Family Law Bill 1996, particularly analysing the possible effects for unmarried couples in domestic violence law. The authors give a review of modern family structures, whilst concluding that despite the improvement the Bill offers to current law, matters are complicated by the differing remedies available to spouses, unmarried heterosexual cohabitation and other home sharers (e.g. homosexual cohabitants). 1996 Web JCLI Issue 2
