The right to privacy in English Law - Singh & Strachan
Singh & Strachan's article takes a look at privacy rights in English law since the HRA 1998. The piece reviews the case law to date focussing primarily on Douglas v Hello! Ltd [2001] 2 WLR 992. The authors take the view that the application of a tort of privacy will mean the courts moving away from the deferential approach currently taken in judicial review cases.
