Full text of Diane Pretty case, who applied for her husband to be granted immunity from prosecution, so that he might assist in her suicide. Pretty suffered from Motor Neurone Disease and wanted to end her life before the latter stages of her illness caused her great pain and indignity, and despite being mentally competent, could not physically take her own life.
