Lord Chancellor's Department - Human Rights Unit
The official website of the Human Rights Unit, held under the offices of the Lord Chancellor. The unit's main task is to ensure the successful implementation of the Human Rights Act 1998, as well as developing the UK's position under Human Rights treaties. The policy pages of this site include speeches by ministers, as well as relevant extracts from parliamentary questions.
