Private Ownership of public image: Popular culture and publicity rights - Madow, M
Madow's evocative article takes a wholly different stance to the norm on the 'right of publicity'. Madow writes from a cultural studies perspective and argues that this private ownership and control of images may pose more problems than we realise. The article does not go as far as to suggest that this right be abolished, yet provokes deeper thought into the issue by offering an evaluation of the subject. 81 Calif.L.Rev. 127
