Gowers Review of Intellectual Property

The Gowers Review was published in December 2006 and offers an independent look at the UK Intellectual Property Framework. Andrew Gowers looked at IP instruments like copyright and designs, patents and trade marks to ensure flexibility, coherence and balanced. He also examined how IP is awarded, used and enforced. On this Treasury page you can check out the Review itself as well as various other pieces of research and the submissions which arrived after the call for evidence.
