Chartered Institute of Patent Agents
Founded in 1882, this organisation states that it represents virtually all patent attorneys in the UK. It's pages are useful: the links page lists organisations, national patent offices, databases, legal texts and a section called 'For Fun' which includes 'wacky patent of the month'! The Information for IP Professionals page gives access to some useful briefing papers.
